i first saw this in the early 80s. and not a moment too soon. the 80s--the reagan era--reversed many steps 'forward' of the 60s and 70s--a trend that continues today in the names of 'security' and 'fiscal responsibility'--illusions, as mike nickerson might say. life thrives best when motivated by love, real love, not strange love, not fear, not complacency. have we as a species become too complacent?
