climate prediction dot net = cpdn

i've been part of this research since 2004. you can join, too!

'There are departments of Climatology and Atmospheric Physics in countries and universities where computing resources are not available to produce the sort of enormous data bank, or ensemble of models, that the Climate Prediction team now has. This initiative therefore makes our results available to many more researchers than was previously the case, without our efforts needing to be duplicated. More than 11000 of our BBC and cpdn models are now available for researchers to download from the website.

I am sure all our members will welcome such free and open exchange of research data. In many scientific fields, both data and publications are increasingly being made freely available by their creators.

Selected models could also potentially be used as a teaching resource to demonstrate aspects of climatology or this type of numerical modelling.'
