just watched a nature show about the himalayas. the rarer energy of the mountains seems to increase cooperation. oil-rich, energy-rich entities have the illusion of independence. but downwards the mountains offer lessons of a different reality, of interdependence, of cooperation more so than competition, of complexity, of infinite interconnectedness, of diversity and unity
