Marie Plocharz: 'I studied Josef Albers' color interactions in color theory class and did my version of his Homage To The Square.... Some of the arrangements are more pleasing than others, and it's interesting how some seem to rise and others go backwards.' here are my first ones based on homage to the square. i used colours of the seasons.

In October 2009, the Senate voted to name the Five Canada's first honorary senators. Also, an annual award, the Governor General's Awards in Commemoration of the Persons Case, was created in 1979 and continues to be presented to five individuals each year to honour distinguished achievements that advance the equality of girls and women in Canada.'
